You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. So now here is a bunch of sounds that were created by me either covering up or bumping my mic which i hope you will enjoy.

The background noise, familiar to anyone who has ever been to school.

While i was in math class taking a test i just decided to record. Near 4:38 you can hear a bell ringing, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't want a interrupting bell. It's can be rather useful for a animations where the character is surrounded by classmates taking a test or whatever. You can use it for anything it doesn't matter to me.

Part of a collection of sounds i recorded at an elementary school after the students have finished the year--the building was largely empty and as i've worked here, i've noticed a range of interesting sounds that i thought would be useful for folks working with video games or audio dramas! no need to credit me, but would be interested to know what you use it for just out of my own curiosity.

I recorded the subtle crackling sound beer foam makes after you pour it into the glass. I needed an old record player sound so i improvised. I was pretty pleased with the result.

Middle school (ages 12-14) band of about 50 students preparing to make an audition recording in their school auditorium. Two akg c 414 b-uls multi-pattern large diaphragm condenser mics were placed about 10 feet (about 3 meters) above the ensemble on the far right and far left, with a røde nt4 stereo condenser mic at the same height located in the middle of the group. Since i have been lowing low on things to record i have been starting to record while i'm at school and it is working. The good thing is know one will know i am recording because i am using my audacity recorder on my laptop. I hope you enjoy my newest sounds.

School kids recorded in the cafeteria during their lunch hour. It was recorded using an iphone (extemporaneous, hence the low quality), converted from the m4a to ogg, but it could certainly pass as a background sound.

At first, the cars pass through in front of the school. And then, the people were talking around and pass by us when we went through the school-yard. We walked up the stairs and pass through the playground, we heard children playing basketball. We heard the balls hit the ground and the children screaming and shouting. Beside that, there was a sound of repairing near the terrace. At the end, we arrived canteen and we heard the students talking.

Primary school orchestra tuning up before their christmas concert. You can hear violins, drums, saxaphone etc and the music teacher (english accent) telling them what to do. The piano comes in about half way through and gently starts to play o come all ye faithful.

High school swim meet practice. Sounds of about 20 kids swimming freestyle laps in the pool lanes. Recorded with a sennheiser hyper directional shotgun mic and the zoom h6.

After handing out instruments, but before getting down to business, i let the students play one long note on their instruments.

A raw, unedited, 5-minute field recording of various people (kids and adults) done at a school lobby (a therapy center to be exact), somewhere in my hometown. This is perfect for small to medium-sized crowds and the like. ~. There is this steam clock in gastown vancouver, that sounded a touch like one of those school bells in anime. This is a reworking of that sound, made into a ringtone/alarm sound. Field-recording bell.
